SEMINAR, LECTURE, COLLOQUIUM DISCUSSION SECTION NOMINATION FORM

Are you creating a transformative environment for learning and discovery in your seminar, lecture, colloquium, or discussion section? The Graduate School wants to know about it! We are seeking current classrooms, seminar rooms, performance spaces, and libraries on both the Chicago and Evanston campuses that embody our mission and practice our values, goals, and aspirations. Whether you are presenting your research to colleagues or discussing with students or peers in a classroom, we want to share in the experience!

Nominate your seminar, discussion section, lecture, or colloquium to be featured in upcoming TGS publications, and your submission could win a visit from Teresa K. Woodruff, PhD, the Dean of The Graduate School and Associate Provost for Graduate Education, to engage with your presentation and classroom’s discoveries and innovations. TGS will receive nominations on a rolling basis, and will be in contact with nominators about visit information.

Eligibility
- Submissions must come from currently enrolled TGS students (PhD and master’s) and postdocs.
- Students and postdocs may only nominate their seminar, lecture, discussion section or colloquium.
- If a student is a teaching assistant for a course, the primary instructor or professor must have granted permission for the submission.
